Steffen Christmann will be appointed as Managing Director at Cyclife Germany Gmbh. Following the expansion of Cyclife Germany with the acquisition of Kraftanlagen Heidelberg and Kraftanlagen Services announced in May, Steffen will pursue the activities of the decommissioning / waste management in Germany following his predecessor, Gordon Hünies. Heading this holding company overseeing all of Cyclife’s German subsidiaries, he will steer the performance and development of the three entities.

Steffen Christmann is an experienced executive in the nuclear services and engineering sector with more than 20 years of international leadership, project management and business development experience. Since 2023, he has served as CEO of Kraftanlagen Heidelberg GmbH and therefore holding full responsibility for the German nuclear business of Bouygues Construction Expertise Nuclear.

Kraftanlagen Heidelberg, now integrated in Cyclife Germany Gmbh, is specialised in services that cover the entire life cycle of nuclear facilities. They plan, design, supply and install turnkey process engineering plants and systems in nuclear power stations. In addition to that, Kraftanlagen Service GmbH offers multiple services for customers from the nuclear industry in the fields of radiation protection, decommissioning and decontamination.

These two new acquisitions strengthen the Cyclife Group’s position in the European market in the engineering, nuclear decommissioning and waste treatment sectors. This integration forms part of the Cyclife Group’s long-term growth strategy and represents a significant milestone.

Over the course of his career at Bouygues/Kraftanlagen Heidelberg and Westinghouse Electric Germany, Steffen has successfully led strategic business development initiatives, international growth programs, large-scale EPC projects, and organizational transformations across Europe and global markets. His expertise spans operational leadership, sales and business development, project execution and the development of sustainable growth strategies. These are key strengths for Cyclife’s expansion in Europe.

Steffen is recognised for his strong leadership, intercultural communication skills, and deep industry expertise in nuclear engineering, decommissioning and waste development.
