At Cyclife, our engineering teams provide strategic advice on radioactive waste management and decommissioning.

At Cyclife, activities from manufacturing to end of commissioning : assembly equipment, commissioning, start of the operations
- They carry out tests FAT & SAT, verify that systems/equipment are operational, safe, and meet expectations before they are commissioned.
- They supervise and/or install bespoke systems of equipment at client sites.

Our activities on customer and partner sites enable us to carry out complex dismantling and radioactive waste treatment operations:
- Supervising the teams working on the sites,

These teams take charge of nuclear waste until it is treated in our various processes: incineration, melting and pyrolysis.
They participate in the commissioning of new treatment solutions that meet current requirements and respect the environment.
These jobs are carried out at our 3 nuclear waste treatment and conditioning centres in Sweden, the UK and France.

Vittoria is one of them, as a Principal Consultant and Non-Destructive Assay Expert at Cyclife UK she contributes to the circular economy at the Metal Recycling Facility (MRF) which reduces waste volume and allows up to 90% of it to be reintroduced into the market.
10 years ago, Vittoria made the choice to join the nuclear industry, and since then she has never looked back. She conceives and uses instruments for measurements which help safety and process. Problem solving is a driver in her life and in her job. Vittoria likes both the technical and creative parts of her role and to be allowed to think out of the box.

Louise likes her job because it’s like 5 jobs in one and because she has her own playground. She has the superpower of being a transformer. Andreas is one of them: as an Incineration Operator at Cyclife Sweden AB, he works every day to reduce the environmental impact of nuclear: together with his colleagues, he reduces the volume of low-level radioactive waste by around 90% before it is sent for storage.
Because his management allows him to propose new ideas, he feels motivated by the opportunity to collectively improve his job. Team spirit, skills transfer, mutual support, almost like a family... this is what appeals to Andreas in his role. And speaking of family: he even convinced his young brother to join Cyclife.
