With effect from 1st September 2026, Cyclife is restructuring its governance with the appointment of Frédéric Belloy as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Cyclife Group and Olivier Giraud as Managing Director of the Cyclife Group. This new management team will draw on their complementary backgrounds and solid experience in industrial, energy and nuclear sectors to drive Cyclife’s continued development and support its ambitions in the areas of decommissioning, radioactive waste management and the circular economy, serving the nuclear industry.

Frédéric Belloy brings to Cyclife over 25 years’ experience within the EDF Group and in the energy sector. After beginning his career at JPMorgan in London in the mergers and acquisitions division, he joined EDF in 2003, where he held a number of senior management roles in strategic investments, development and operations, both in France and internationally. A member of the Executive Committee of EDF Renouvelables from 2015, he successively headed up the company’s French and then international operations. Since 2023, he has served as Chief Investment Officer of the EDF Group and Chief Executive Officer of EDF Holding. His strategic, financial and international expertise will be a major asset in supporting Cyclife’s growth and ambitions.

Olivier Giraud, for his part, has over thirty years’ recognised experience in EDF’s nuclear operations. Since joining the Group in 1992, he has held numerous operational and management posts at the Chinon and Dampierre nuclear power stations, and subsequently within the nuclear engineering division. For over ten years, he has overseen the development and implementation of EDF’s radioactive waste management programmes and led several strategic projects within the sector (ICEDA, Spent Fuel Storage Pool, Technocentre, EDF’s contribution to Cigéo, etc.). A director of Cyclife Group and Cyclife France since 2020, and chairman of Waste2Glass since 2022 and of Cyclife Technocentre since 2025, he will, in his new role, help to strengthen operational excellence, industrial performance and the coordination of the Cyclife Group’s activities on an international scale.
